A day in the life of an adaptive ski instructor can be very unusual. Last year, I came to work and was told that a film crew from Los Angeles would be filming my lesson to teach an above the knee amputee military veteran how to ski for the first time. There were camera operators, lighting and sound technicians, producers and all their assistants. They told me, “just do a normal lesson”. Ha!
Luckily, Thomas and Sebastian are very interesting and cool people who made the lesson an incredible and rewarding experience.
