“Dear Go Hawkeye Foundation, in conjunction with Leftside Industries, Brian Bartlett and Bartlett Tendon Universal Knee, Greg Mattson at FabTech Systems of Seattle and Ergonomic Solutions Inc.,
I could never have dreamed of winning such an amazing contest and opportunity! I would sincerely like to thank all involved with doing such great things for not only myself, but primarily for the scores of Wounded Warriors whose lives you have and will touch….
This privilege and grand prize will be put to extreme use and i very much hope to be a part of the team that changes lives!
The doors of life swing open at times, when you certainly least expect it, and we must leap through with excitement, passion and gratitude, remembering always, how we got there….
I am eternally grateful.
I look forward to many years of great adventures, friendships and events to help those most in need of us!
See you all in Telluride in September!
With many, many thanks…
Sincerely,
Greg Bufalini

Cactus Moser, runner up, GoHawkeye Foundation Leg Up contest.

In addition to the grand prize winner GoHawkeye was able to award a second Bartlett Tendon Knee due to the outpouring of financial support for this new Leg Up program. The runner up is outdoor enthusiast Cactus Moser.

“I could not be more blessed and grateful to be receiving the BTK Crossover knee. When you become an amputee you join a unique group of brothers and sisters who together turn the loss of a limb into a mark of pride. I am honored to be able to represent an innovative company by wearing this knee and showcasing the amazing work that they do to help amputees return to their previous functional and active lifestyles,” said Cactus.

Both Greg and Cactus will truly be great ambassadors for this cutting edge technology and champions of an active outdoor lifestyle for amputees.

The GoHawkeye Foundation has continued the Leg Up contest. The grand prize is a BTK knee and winter or summer sports adventure in Telluride, Colorado. Get all the details HERE.
