March 5, 2020 Off By Hawkeye Johnson

GoHawkeye Foundation, a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit, recently celebrated it’s fifth year birthday of financially supporting adaptive organizations and individuals through equipment and experience grants.

In this period, thanks to your generous donations, GoHawkeye awarded over $145,000 in grants to four adaptive organizations and 44 adaptive athletes of all ages, gender, and disabilities from across the United States.

GoHawkeye is an all volunteer organization managed by a dedicated and active board of directors. This team effort keeps our expenses incredibly low so that over 80% of your donation goes directly to our adaptive sports grants. For example, last year we raised $35,000 with only $1,800 in expenses. The rest we awarded to 12 athletes and one organization.

GoHawkeye, with your help, is making a positive impact on the lives of people of all abilities by supporting and promoting the benefits of recreation and sports. Your donations for equipment and experience grants make this possible. Thank you and raise a toast to the next five years!
