We are proud to announce the successful completion of our Logan Fuller fundraising campaign. In 2018, GoHawkeye made a commitment to help a local quadriplegic sit skier Logan Fuller buy his own ski.  The pirate party fundraiser for him on March 28, 2019, raised the remaining $6000 we needed! This pirate themed costume party was held in thenTelluride Distilling Company’s new tasting room located in Mountain Village, Colorado. The party featured door prizes, a silent auction and live music by the popular Telluride Gold Kings! Spirits were high and the dance floor was packed as we reached our fundraising goal.

Logan will be testing several models of sit skis before deciding on the one he wants. Skiing, being active and working out has helped him regain some strength in his upper body so it may take some time to decide on the ski that is right for him. Logan has been skiing on a monoski and progressing very rapidly for his first season. He celebrated on the last day of the ski season in Telluride by successfully skiing his first, and very steep, expert run. Accompanied by a group of friends, family, and coaches, Logan went on to ski the run three more times! This young man is destined for great accomplishments.

By joining the GoHawkeye team and making a donation, you can help athletes like Logan Fuller train and work hard to reach their highest potential. Adaptive sports can change lives, open doors for a person living with a disability and inspire us all. GoHawkeye has a passion for helping this happen. Our all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization has extremely low overhead so your donation goes directly to helping athletes. In only four years, we have helped 28 athletes and three adaptive sports organizations with grants totaling over $100,000. GoHawkeye has two grant periods ending June 30 and December 31. Please help support our mission and donate NOW.
