Description
Abbott was a friend and dedicated supporter of GoHawkeye. His good nature and zest for life was very inspiring so it’s now wonder he was loved by the community for his leadership, vision and participation in many activities.
Winter sports was just one area he excelled and he was a strong advocate for adaptive skiing. He spent 2 seasons skiing on one foot using outriggers while recovering from an ankle fusion as he continued to coach with the Telluride Ski and Snowboard club.
Donations to this fund go directly to adaptive athletes for snow sport equipment and experiences.
