Kanya Sesser’s motto is “No Legs … No Limits.” She and her story are an inspiration for all!
Kanya has been an independent and active person from the day she was left alone on the side of the road in Thailand. Growing up in Oregon she discovered adaptive sports and went on to compete in wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, surfing, skateboarding and has learned to sit ski. Kanya works as a model and actor. She is an athlete and ambassador for Project Roar who develop snowboards for people with unique challenges.
Kanya has worked and saved for a sit ski with a custom prosthetic seat. This type of sit ski starts at $8,000 plus $4,000 for the specialized seat.
