Description
Abbott was a dedicated friend and supporter of GoHawkeye. His good nature and zest for life was inspiring so it’s no wonder that he was loved by the community for his leadership, vision and participation in many activities.
Winter sports was just one area where he excelled and he was a strong advocate for adaptive skiing. He spent two years skiing on one foot using outriggers while recovering from an ankle fusion while he continued to coach with the Telluride Ski and Snowboard Club.
