Sports Equipment Grant

The GoHawkeye Foundation believes that the power of sports and recreation is essential to the quality of life by helping to develop confidence, independence and good health through physical and mental strength. These benefits are especially important for those living with a disability.

Our GoHawkeye Sports Equipment Grants help applicants adaptive sports equipment. Awards are based on funds available at the time of the awards cycle. Applicants are evaluated by essay content and quality, financial need, and complete personal/general information as well as answering any follow up questions. Please include as much information as possible about the specific equipment and the cost/quote or invoice.

To apply, please fill out and submit the form below before May 1, 2024. You may also download and print out the form and mail it in.

Deadline: The deadline for this grant cycle and contest is May 1, 2024. It is best to submit the application before the deadline.

Eligibility: You have never been awarded a GoHawkeye grant or two years have passed since receiving a grant from GoHawkeye. Applications for persons under age 18 must be completed with parent or legal guardian.

Requirements:  1. Applicants are encouraged to review the GoHawkeye Privacy policy. 2.  If you receive a grant, we may use your name, state of residence, photos and essay for marketing purposes through social media, newsletter and website. 3. You are required to provide a follow up essay with 5 pictures on using the equipment if receiving a grant to be shared on our website and newsletter. Your story inspires and informs others about the benefits of adaptive sports.
