Dress like a pirate and come out to support adaptive athletes like Kanya Sesser! We want to help her buy her own custom sit ski. Kanya’s motto, “No Legs … No Limits”, shows how serious she is about adaptive sports. She has a custom snowboard and has sit skied on borrowed equipment but she has always wanted her own custom sit ski. GoHawkeye was very impressed by her grant application and has decided to go the extra mile and party like pirates to help her reach that goal. So break out your best pirate duds and join the fun. Together we can make her dream come true.

Our friends at the Telluride Distilling Company will co-host this event in their tasting room located in Mountain Village, Colorado. We appreciate their long time support!

This year makes twenty years of Pirate Parties in Telluride. Back when we first dressed up like pirates and went to see the new “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie at The Nugget Theater in 2003. We had so much fun. The crew has since kept it going by raising money for several community organizations. It now has become one of GoHawkeye’s biggest fundraisers of the year. So, come out, meet Kanya, and party like pirates! Bid on some booty in the silent auction and dance to some great live music.
